Digital Graphic Designer

Proofreader/Editor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Proofreader/Editor to join our team on a contract basis. As a Proofreader/Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and proofing various projects, including websites, email design, presentation design, packaging design, and stationery design. This is a completely remote position and compensation will be based on hours worked.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a proofreader/editor with a keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of grammar and punctuation rules.

  • Proficiency in using editing tools and software to track changes and provide comments on design projects.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with design terminology and principles would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Proofreading and editing various design projects, ensuring accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.

  • Collaborating with the creative team to uphold brand voice and style guidelines across all projects.

  • Providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of the projects.

  • Managing multiple projects with varying deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of error-free content.
